The location is beautiful, the facilities are wonderful, and the materials, finishes, and design details are of high quality. A small continental breakfast would have been the icing on the cake. The shops were only a 15‑minute drive away, but I would have paid for fresh juice, good bread, or pastries.

The place looked really pretty and fancy by my standards. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. Getting there wasn’t too bad; a narrow road led to it, but I’ve been through worse. Overall, it’s a great spot to stay, especially given its location. Apparently their chef had left to pursue other things, so breakfast wasn’t cooked or served. The host was kind enough to buy us bagels to eat instead.

The host was wonderful, and the common area was nice for dining, playing games, and wine. Breakfast was terrific, made to order with homemade Shakshuka and eggs Benedict. It was definitely a good experience for all of us. The weather in December brought relentless rain.

The breakfast was amazing, the wine tasting was great, and the staff were very impressive; we just wish we had stayed two days. The road up to the cellars is very narrow, windy, and without lights, so it’s best to arrive during daylight; otherwise you’ll have to go up and down for dinner, and the road is easy to miss when you get there, so keep your eyes peeled. Once you get there, it’s very peaceful.
