“Gedateerd en duur ,”
The room had a lovely view and the breakfast was excellent, yet the cleanliness was uneven—spider webs around the windows, outdated hinges and locks, and we paid a lot more for the room than others who booked later. It felt unfair and opaque.

I was blown away by the view, but the staff seemed uninterested and the shower head was full of limescale, with the bath water barely draining. My room was 503, and the breakfast had cold eggs and cold sausages—really disappointing given the beautiful location.

The location is perfect, right by the sea, and the breakfast buffet is very good. Shopping and restaurants are nearby, but parking is on a public lot.

We booked two rooms; the first one reeked of sewage, so we asked to change it and got a room with a broken window, its curtains constantly fluttering half a meter inside, making it feel like we were sleeping on a beach with waves crashing beside the bed at night. The other room that was actually usable suffered from a busted shower where the thermostat valve never worked, so the water could only be set to scalding hot. There were no power outlets in the bathrooms, which also needed a much deeper cleaning. The beds were twin instead of a single large one, the summer blankets were far too thick, the air‑conditioning units were outdated, and the balcony nets were so tiny they were useless. Breakfast was very basic, haphazardly arranged and poorly lit, while the restaurant tables were dirty and sticky. Overall the property feels more like a three‑star hotel and is in desperate need of renovation; the price was what you’d expect for a four‑star place, so the value for money was completely off.
The beach location, the spacious room with a large comfortable bed, and the excellent restaurant with a beautiful large terrace were all great.
