The location was fantastic, with everything in Bar Harbor within easy reach, and the on‑site parking was a real bonus; we especially enjoyed unwinding in the bar after our daily adventures, which were the real highlights of our visit. However, the rooms felt poorly laid out and designed, falling short of the luxury level we anticipated for the price; noticeable carpet stains—especially odd for a hotel only about two years old—made us feel the finish and attention to detail were lacking for such a new property at this rate.
