It was in a lovely location, very well equipped, spotlessly clean, with a nice welcome pack of goodies, bowls and towels for the dogs, and very cosy. Nothing that I didn’t like.

The location was great, but it was surprisingly quiet, and getting to nearby attractions was a bit of a challenge.

The cabin was beautiful and peaceful, surrounded by nature. The host was fantastic and kept us well informed. The spot was ideal for trips to Knaresborough and York. Everything in the cabin worked for us, and the beds were comfortable. The best moment was watching an owl fly over the cabin at night! We’ll definitely return. Everything was perfect.

“A perfect lodge for us and our dog.”

The location was amazing with plenty of wildlife nearby. The accommodation was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Our dog was welcomed, and the walking and running routes were excellent. We’d recommend Beningbrough Hall for a day out (very dog and child friendly) and rowing on the river at Knaresborough (dogs welcome). Rachael, the owner, was available if needed but never intrusive. We had absolutely no complaints.
