The surroundings were very pleasant and the room was spacious, but I couldn't adjust the air conditioning—no power or temperature settings, just an on/off button on the wall. The owners' dogs started barking at night, and the kitchen was shared.

“Quiet, clean, friendly and peaceful is how you will experience Casa Gio”

Gio and his son Mattia went above and beyond as hosts, making me feel like we had known each other for years. Though the map shows the place a bit away from the town center and main beaches, Casa Gio is actually a hidden gem: it’s very close to Playa Bonita, one of the best beaches in Las Terranas, and a short walk from the Merca and the soon‑to‑be‑completed Sirena mega‑grocery store. The biggest advantage is the complete silence inside Casa Gio’s oasis—Las Terranas itself is very noisy, so I preferred to sit by the pool or sleep in the room where the only sound was birds. The only downside was that I didn’t discover their place earlier in my holiday. I’ll definitely return when I come back to Las Terranas.

“Había ración amplia comida y magnífico estado”

Everything was magnificent, very clean and well maintained. The only issue was that the entrance was not well sign‑posted.

“Tranquilo y muy agradable”

The room looked exactly as in the photos, was very clean, had lovely details, and we especially appreciated getting the room early. The only drawback was the distance to the beaches, which I knew, but the transport is by motorcycle. We didn’t need it, but you should know that the air conditioning is separate.

We felt very comfortable; the breakfast was great, there was plenty of space, and everything worked perfectly. A new large supermarket is right nearby, and the outdoor kitchen is also excellent for self‑supply.
