“Cute house, but with cockroaches”

The location was great and the bed was very comfortable, but we found cockroaches during our stay. When we booked, there was absolutely no mention of cockroaches as a potential issue; for someone who is terrified of them, this made our stay truly terrible. Additionally, we were told we could use a cockroach spray if we found any, but none was provided. To address the humidity, we were instructed to turn on the air extractor after showers, yet it didn’t work.

“Awfull, disquating, dirty, smelly,”

Hello, my pregnant wife and I check in in Cosy Albert’s SeaSide, in about 00:30am. The reservations was make on your site. But the room was smelly, sheets was dirty, full of someone’s hair, from the bathroom was coming disquasting smell. Walls was dirty and moldy. Then my pregnant wife and I was forced to find some new hotel in 1am. That caused us stress, and pain. No one was there to help us or to clean the room. So we was forced to overpaid new room in Kennedy hotel in Sliema. I contacted the guests support, but they didn’t do anything. Because of that, I wan’t our money back. Please help us with that. The room was spacious and the bathroom clean. The street outside felt scary; at 5am most days, people from other rooms would come in shouting and wake everyone. I asked for toilet paper because they had only left half a roll for each day we stayed, and they told me to look in the bathroom drawer that wouldn’t open, or buy my own. The shower faucet had very low pressure; the cistern stopped working several times. I asked if we could check in later than 10am because an email implied that was possible, but they said no because the cleaning staff would arrive. Still, I stayed until 11am drinking coffee in the lounge and no one came to clean.

The space was good and well furnished but it smelled like humidity. For the first few days we had to keep the air conditioning on constantly to dry the room and eliminate the smell. A dehumidifier was offered but never arrived. Luckily the AC worked well, otherwise I would have moved out. The bathroom was poorly cleaned and smelled again. The location was very convenient, close to the Strand, ferries, and all connections. The admin team was supportive, but they couldn’t address the cleanliness and odor issues. They were very accommodating with late check‑out and letting us leave bags, but they forgot to send us the new door codes, nearly causing us to miss the booked taxi.

The location was good and check‑in was smooth. The paint on the walls was peeling and moldy. The wardrobe was falling apart; every time it opened it would sway, making it unusable. There were no amenities, just one sachet of coffee and two teas. The ironing board got moldy. I do not recommend it.
