The hotel is clean and charming, situated in a great spot, and the windows in our room overlooked the courtyard; the coffee machine supplied good coffee with biscuits and water, plus a sweet welcome gift of chocolates and macarons, and the lift ran smoothly—what a lovely entrance!

Collection stays Pau Claris sits right in the heart of the city and felt safe both inside and out; the staff tidied our room daily and the complimentary water and coffee were fantastic, making our Barcelona exploration a joy, yet the bed was awful, ruining our sleep, and the walls let everything through, plus there was visible mold or water damage in the bathroom despite everything else being clean.

The place looked good, was well‑located, and comfy, but the rooms were so small you could only sleep and use the bathroom there.

The staff were attentive and quick to help, the room was beautiful, spacious, and clean, and the location was perfect for touring Barcelona, though there was a power outage that the staff handled very well.
