The staff were very accommodating and helpful, and the hotel was cute and comfortable near the bazaar; dinner was included and delicious. It was in a busy area and it wasn’t easy for Ubers or taxis to reach the hotel most of the time.

The hotel is very well located in the middle of the souk. It is relatively quiet despite the outside noise of the souk. The staff are very friendly and the food is very good.

If you want to stay within Old Cairo, this is the place. Beautiful property and excellent staff. Hostesses Haviva and the two Maryams were great, and the kitchen staff was outstanding.

The hotel is close to the bazaar in a lively area. It was a messy place but I didn’t feel unsafe. The hotel staff were very kind. Breakfast and dinner were tasty. The rooms were quiet and I could sleep without nighttime noise. I recommend it as a base when you want to experience the vibe of downtown Cairo and the bazaar. The hotel itself originally ran a gold‑work business, and on the ground floor you can see a workshop and craft items. The shower’s water tap was confusing to use.
