The location and price were great, but the food was not that impressive.

The staff were lovely and the location was good. In the bathroom, I could hear the neighbour next door doing their business, even when they were ill, because there’s no insulation in the adjoining cupboard. The doors slammed in the middle of the night and would benefit from gas struts. The balcony doors were heavy and noisy.

The spot was spot‑on for us, the hotel was spotless and breakfast was a treat with plenty of options. However, there was no fridge in the rooms—something I’ve never seen missing before, and it felt essential in a hot country. Even though the lobby had a vending machine, it wasn’t enough because the drinks would warm up before reaching my room. I called about it on day one and was told that only superior rooms have fridges, which surprised me since I’ve never stayed in a place without one. It’s a problem for us because I drink a lot of water, especially at night when I wake up often.

“Basic no frills hotel, very noisy & difficult to sleep”

The entertainment staff were fun, the location was central and clean, and the pools were a good size with plenty of sunbeds. Soundproofing was awful; a couple in the next room stayed up all night talking and playing music, which was clearly audible through the communal vent. Food had many choices but felt basic, like a canteen, and the Wi‑Fi was very spotty.

The pool was good. The drinks were pre‑made and stale, and the location was inconvenient.
