The view is among the best in Udaipur, and the terrace restaurant is very relaxing.

“Location is lovely but price is higher for the basic amenities”

The hotel is basic, but the location and lake view are great. I expected at least an electric kettle with tea/coffee pouches given the prices, and the restaurant was under renovation during my stay, so the rates should have been lower.

Absolute catastrophe of unhygienic, unfriendly behaviour you can expect from a hotel at such a good tourist spot. I booked their hotel cause I have been there last year. But except for the views from the hotel room, everything was worst nightmare you can ever imagine. 1. The staffs were unnecessarily rude, unfriendly, unhelpful, unhygienic. 2. There were some clump of female hair on the floor when we first entered. 3. No room service was offered at all for last 3 days. 4. With same lake and Mountain Views the neighbourhood hotel would cost you around 2500-3000 Rs per night for eg: - Hotel Lake Shore / Hotel Lake Sarovar. I went to visit the neighbouring hotels to enquire this. But we have prepaid 9000 Rs for this. So we burnt 4500 Rs per night for the same thing. 5. For the lunch, when we asked in the morning - they told us yes they will serve it. When we returned for lunch, they denied us saying - Aab to khaana raat mein hi banega. Bhai bhuka aadmi, who is staying in your hotel for last 2days, and ready to pay whatever amount you are charging - and you are denying food to hime (charge of food is higher in Udaipur Lake Areas almost in every restaurant). 6. landlines were disconnected 7. poor wifi connectivity 8. 10 pm starting- they used to switch off the corridor lights. 9. The cook and his colleagues were the most unfriendly staffs. 10. They denied us to do even casual photography on the rooftop when we were already paying 9000 Rs tor 2 nights. 11. Dampened walls with falling plasters. Last year when I visited (in 2025) , only no 1 was there, this year all 9: Also there is no senior officials with whom you may talk to. They have only left some , incompetent youngsters are hell lazy and dont care about bad customer reviews/ relations. - They say - “Atithi Narayn , Atithi Devo Vaba, Customer Bhagwan Hota hai” - but in reality- they didn’t even care to ask the customer about food / room service (basic cleaning on payment basis)
