The place didn’t exist; we stood outside closed doors and locals told us it had been gone for a year. We tried reaching the hosts with no luck, then turned to booking, also to no avail. We never saw any money back, and had to scramble for a new spot during peak season, which was far from easy.

Very stressful and dramatic – the hotel isn’t real. I paid, but locals said the owner still charges money. It’s terrible, avoid it. Waiting for a refund. I don’t know why booking didn’t verify the property properly, especially in Tanghazoute; they’re either overbooked, lack signage, or don’t exist at all. The owner ignores calls; locals say it’s a scam. Needs proper verification.
