Hotel Galera

I was looking for a simple base near the bus terminal and the marina, and the hotel delivered that. The rooms were clean and the staff were friendly, and the price was great for what you get. A few guests were a bit noisy, but overall it was quieter than the reviews had suggested. We wished for extra pillows, and when we asked reception, they told us to speak with the cleaning staff, yet we were already out before they could reach our floor. The TV didn’t let us change the language settings to English, so we only managed to watch Spanish shows, which actually helped me improve my Spanish!

The room was located above a road and it was very noisy. The bedding seemed unchanged from the previous guest, with many hairs in the bed.

“Niet voor herhaling vatbaar door het lawaai s’nachts van de hotelgasten”

Breakfast was tasty in the cafeteria, and the staff were friendly everywhere. Check‑in and check‑out were quick. However, there was a lot of nighttime noise, only single glazing, the walls were nice, but the building was old and the bathroom was outdated.
