“Amazing family room with everything you need!”

When we got there, Jill greeted us nicely. We’d booked a family room that had everything we needed: a comfortable bed for us, a sofa bed for our daughter, and the room was huge. It included a fridge, a coffee bar, and a closet for storage. The bathroom was beautiful and convenient. Everything was spotless and cozy.

“Been here before and is the same - initial reception very hit and miss, room great, breakfast great”

Breakfast was great, and the person managing the staff there was brilliant—though they need to train the rest of the team to match him. If they can reach his level, you’ll have a winning crew. Reception has always been poor; no one was at the desk, so you have to hunt for them. There was no apology, just excuses that they have other jobs at the bar/restaurant, which is unacceptable. Greeting at reception is the first impression, and blaming other duties is simply wrong.

“Excellent base for a 3 day break in Dorset”

We stayed in a huge suite with a large sitting room, a good‑sized bedroom, and a bathroom. Two big TVs were in the sitting room and bedroom, the bed was enormous, the shower was wonderful, and there was plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space for clothes. The staff were very pleasant, breakfast was excellent, and there was very little to dislike. We couldn’t get the AC to work properly, but we managed without it. The traffic noise mentioned by some reviewers was occasionally noticeable but not a problem for us.

Very modern and clean. It was a lovely hotel but we found the breakfast very overpriced for what it was
