Very versatile, served in the beautiful guest room. Extremely nice African staff member who took care of our well‑being. More of that! The parking information was inaccurate. Our problem: is the indicated hotel behind or in front? Please put up a sign that eliminates misunderstandings. For example, we were not sure if we could use one of the many available tennis courts. Urgently improve! We found it scandalous that the idyllic walking path from Erlach to the hotel is currently closed. The dusty path we have to walk now is unpleasant, boring, dusty, caused by local cars and agriculture. Interestingly, the shuttle boat that returns from the hotel to Erlach is much cheaper than the cruise ship from Hafen Nord. The one‑way passage from there to Erlach costs Fr. 22.- (without HT). The reception staff should point out that the hotel boat costs only Fr. 15.- per person.

Great spot, everything was top‑notch – the location, the charm, the warm staff, and that breakfast buffet was a treat. The only worry would be if it gets as hot as this summer; the room would be a nightmare without AC or a fan. Luckily we didn’t hit that.

Dinner and breakfast hit the mark, the St. Petersinsel wine was good to very good, staff were friendly and attentive, and the island vibe is just… indescribable. The 35 CHF for the boat dock felt a bit over the top – there are free spots for 24 h. We were six, relaxed over dinner and three bottles of wine. When we asked to taste the Grappas before coffee, they didn’t let us – a tiny annoyance given how much we drank.

Breakfast and dinner were solid, the historic building and its location really impressed us, the peace was fantastic, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The room, however, was pretty tight and didn’t live up to the price.
