A simple backpacker hostel, people come and go. There’s a kitchen and a terrace with a nice view. The shower was a dirty Spartan shower, and the beds were narrow box beds.

I liked the place, but there were a few things that could be improved.

The staff were excellent, the rooms were very clean and modern, but there were no signs with hiking trails or bus timetables, and a notice recommending the HikeArmenia app would have been useful since it’s a brilliant app.

I stayed at Hostel La Casa Dilijan for the second time, and everything was so good that I decided to extend my visit. The hostel still looks just like the photos, and the backside terrace with a lush green mountain view was a fantastic spot for morning coffee.
