The hotel is very cozy and very close to the center; the room is on the roof and reachable via steep stairs, but it is clean and spacious enough. The owners are very warm and helpful, and the local cat Sumi is a bonus. I have nothing negative to mention.

The location is in a residential neighborhood near Vondelpark and the 397 bus stop to the airport, but there is a lack of air conditioning.

The reception was extremely friendly and personal, the breakfast was excellent, and the hotel’s décor is tasteful. The only downside is that there is no elevator and the stairs to the upper floors are very steep for German standards.

Great location and good value! Very clean and helpful staff. The breakfast option was not really worth the money, wouldn’t recommend it but aside from that everything else was lovely!

The staff at Hotel Verdi are wonderfully nice, giving a family‑like vibe and a simple yet stylish ambience that adds that special touch. The rooms are a bit small, as is common in A'Dam, but the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast is tailored to everyone, even offering oat milk and gluten‑free options. We felt well taken care of and very free. The location is also spot‑on. The only issue was the very steep, narrow stairs with short steps to the third floor, which left us a bit winded. Those who are athletic will have an advantage 😉
