“EXCELLENT”
The setting is gorgeous, the staff are pleasant and speak English well, and the equipment is top‑class. The only thing missing might be a iron.

Everything was excellent: the communal spa had a beautiful outdoor pool, the traditional room was spacious and pleasant, and the private wooden bathtub was large enough for two, overlooking the garden above the spa. Breakfast could be chosen as Western or Japanese, and the place was impeccably clean. Nothing to complain about.

Everything was perfect: the room, the staff’s attentiveness, the onsen, the breakfast… Nothing to mention.

This hotel is breathtaking, located right at the start of Kasuga Park and the shrine path to Kasuga‑Taisha. The interior is extraordinarily beautiful. The room was very spacious, and the breakfasts were diverse and delicious; we only tried the Japanese option. The two onsens, separated by gender and alternating daily, were superb, and the outdoor baths were even more stunning. The staff were professional and very helpful. The only drawback is that there is no option for a private or family bath.

It was nice to have both Japanese and Western options available.
