Clean, tidy room. No dust! The full English breakfast was superb. A real standout. The shower intermittently ran hot / cold in Room 16. There is a risk of a scald if you're not careful. Maybe a sideplate for toast and real butter? I could have asked but didnt. I was enjoying the rest of the food too much

The staff were friendly and the food very good; however, a broken light fitting, a soap dispenser that didn’t work in the shower, water leaking all over the floor while showering, a very narrow short bed—usually not a problem but at £201 a night, it was quite disappointing.

The food and service were top‑class, but the rooms stayed very hot even with a fan, though it’s an unusually warm year for the evenings.

Typisch Engelse inn met een goede keuken; er was geen wifi op de kamer, en het toilet spoelde niet door als gevolg van een technisch mankement.
