“Quiet Place in the Heart of Naples 🇮🇹”

The room was very clean, quiet, and the temperature was pleasant and easily adjustable. The bed was quite comfortable, and I slept soundly. Unfortunately, the showers were inconsistent. The first three times I tried to shower there was no hot water. I finally got hot water on the last two attempts, but it was hard to regulate the temperature and I almost got scalded. I was disappointed that there was no tea kettle available.

The terrace offers a magnificent view of the city and the gulf. The owner is always available for any information and advice. The location is excellent, close to the station and the center. The furnishings are dated. The whole property needs a renovation and a fresh coat of paint because everything is dirty and stained. The bathroom is shared, but it is cleaned daily. The bathroom also needs fixing—there is no bidet. It’s hard to get a steady water temperature; the water is either too hot or too cold, so showering is difficult.

“Uma hospedagem acolhedora, com uma ótima localização e vista linda de Nápoles.”

Domenico’s hospitality was sensational! Even before we arrived he sent us all the necessary information to find the accommodation, check in, and enjoy the local amenities. Check‑in is scheduled in advance at the time chosen by the guest, which makes it very convenient. The location is great, right next to Napoli Centrale and about a 10‑minute walk from Spaccanapoli, a superb bohemian area full of restaurants, bars, and shops. The accommodation is on the 6th floor and has an elevator. An important detail: during the week until 19:00, you have to pay about €0.10 to use it. After that time and on weekends, the elevator is free. The room is small but very functional and has a balcony with a beautiful view of Naples! The bathroom is shared with the neighboring room, but the facilities are good and were in excellent condition. The accommodation does not offer breakfast, but next to the building is Bar do Louis, which serves coffee and some snacks. Here’s a golden tip: the bar owner is a dear friend and I had the best cappuccino in all of Italy there, and I’ve traveled from north to south! To top it off, since we were celebrating our honeymoon, Domenico gave us a little gift. It was an unexpected kindness that made the experience even more special. Overall, a stay with great location, attentive host, and small details that make all the difference! The only thing we missed was a mini‑fridge.

The only positive thing was the location. The room had a shared bathroom that was not clearly advertised. It’s mentioned in the description on the fourth line after the coffee set. Moreover, the bathroom is not cleaned daily, especially not on weekends. The room was never cleaned during the six days we stayed, nor were the bins emptied. Towels were never replaced. The room is labeled SUPERIOR but it’s unclear what standards that refers to. At check‑out I was asked to write a positive review. I’m attaching the WhatsApp messages received. I paid the tourist tax in cash but did not receive a receipt.
