The staff were very attentive, even before I checked in. The hostel is beautiful, very Valparaíso‑like, and the location is excellent. The bathrooms need maintenance (faucets).

The front desk guy was super friendly and always polite, so checking in felt easy. The only thing that rubbed me the wrong way was the pub on the ground floor and the fact that my room had no windows, so it stayed stuffy.

The place had a great vibe and the host was incredibly kind. Service was solid and made the stay feel welcoming.

We had a rough start: the front desk took ages to hand us a room, and the guy didn’t even have the reservation amount on hand, so he charged us “by eye” in dollars without converting to pesos. The room was cramped, smelled damp, and they tried to upsell towels that were supposed to be free.

The location was spot on and the staff were genuinely caring and friendly. The price was great for what you get, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good the services turned out to be.
