The staff were the real highlight—super helpful and friendly, creating a comfy, relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast was solid too. My room was decent but not as charming as the others; it could use a bit of sprucing up. The real snag was a power outage that lasted several hours—no generator, so I had to rely on my phone for Wi‑Fi and hope my laptop didn’t die. They offered a free drink, but I think a partial refund for that day would have been fair. All in all, a good stay.

Breakfast was okay and the garden was pretty. But paying $170 a night for a room that feels outdated is a stretch; it’s high time for a makeover. The pool was also murky.
