The hotel sits in a beautiful canyon with stunning daytime and nighttime views. Staff are very welcoming and ready to help with any request, and the location makes it easy to reach all the attractions in Al Ula.

Shaden Resort has an excellent location, surrounded by AlUla’s beautiful hills and dramatic rock formations, which gives the place a special feel. Our room was very nice, and the staff throughout the resort were always friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Housekeeping surprised us daily with lovely decorations in our room—a nice personal touch. The buffet breakfast was also excellent, offering a wide variety of choices for everyone. The only real issue was the air conditioning in our room; it was extremely noisy—sometimes sounding like a tractor running—and it disturbed our sleep at night. For a resort of this standard, that should definitely be addressed.

I love the place and its facilities because everything is close to our room. I visited in the last week of August 2025 with our VP, and what I didn’t like when I returned is the breakfast setup. Last year’s buffet had a basket of bread and was much better; now it looks like a regular 4‑star hotel breakfast. I also went to Our Habitas, and their breakfast is really special. I love Shaaden, but you could do better if you improve the breakfast buffet. They also have electric bikes for guests to explore.

Shaden was a truly unique experience. The hotel has everything you could wish for: comfort, breathtaking views, delicious food, and incredibly helpful staff. There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like.
