They upgraded us to the top room because it was the last one available, which was fantastic; the room was huge and spotless, and the whole house is a lovely cottage with every detail carefully tended. The parking was tiny, so on the weekend we had to park outside the property in the village.

The staff were very good, and the room was cozy. After six days, eating the same breakfast every day got a bit boring, and I didn’t like that we couldn’t find anything to eat in the village on any day.

The owner gave great tips for a beautiful walk in the area 30 minutes from the stay and booked a fantastic restaurant for us on Sunday afternoon right next to the walk—top! The bed was good. The garden wasn’t very special or as large as expected; right next to the property there’s an apartment complex and a village. I’m used to more space at an agriturismo, and the Wi‑Fi in the garden was weak.

The hotel is very clean, tidy, and well maintained. The rooms and common areas were pleasant, and overall the place has a nice atmosphere. The main drawback is the noise: wooden floors and staircases transmit a lot of sound, especially in the morning. A fountain in the courtyard runs continuously, creating a constant trickling sound that can be annoying when the windows are open. During our stay we had extremely noisy neighbours; because of the warm weather we kept the windows open, and they spoke loudly while their TV was on high. In the morning we were woken early by people walking heavily and making noise on the wooden stairs. Later, staff also made a lot of noise while cleaning and preparing vacated rooms. If you go to bed around 2 a.m. and wake up around 7 a.m., this might be fine, but if you want a quiet, restful stay, the noise can be a significant issue. There is also no fridge and no AC.
