“NOT 5 STAR! DIFFICULT LOCATION NOT AIR CONDITIONING. NO TV. UNUSABLE HOT WATER. DIRTY POOL.”
The view is good. This is NOT a 5‑STAR Hotel! The last 300 m of road (steep, narrow and unpaved) would be considered EXTREME at best. Great for an experienced motocross rider. Terrifying for anyone else. Upon arrival there are many friendly (but out of control) unsupervised dogs. The swimming pool was dirty. The water level was too low for the water to cycle through the filtering system. The room had no air conditioning. Instead, a noisy air cooler with no water made the room hotter. There were many insects coming into the room. The TV doesn’t work. I asked the staff for a remote control but they informed me that none of the TVs in the hotel worked, even though I could hear the TV working in the staff room. The room lighting was too bright, so we put the bathroom light on instead, which meant the noisy bathroom fan was on too. The hot water pressure was so low it was basically unusable. The plug in the bathtub was broken. The breakfast was very average. Do not leave anything outside (shoes, towels, wet clothing) because the dog will take it. The good – the view, the gardens, the staff are friendly. But for 500 K this hotel is described and priced well above reality.
