The place is very nicely located between Lake Vättern and the historic fortress, with a lawn in front of the house. You have to accept communal showers and toilets, but there are also cozy common rooms next to the kitchen and a lovingly prepared breakfast each morning.

The staff were friendly, the breakfast was good, and it was quiet. We missed soap and shampoo in the shower. The beds were a bit too soft for us and a little low, otherwise everything was great.

It was simple and functional, the beds were good, and it was close to various activities and the inside of Lake Vättern.

The spot was just right for what we needed, the staff were very friendly and everything was clean and tidy. The property makes good use of the space it has. The building is old and some areas are shared, which is fine but you should be aware of that.
