The location, price, and facilities were all excellent, offering brilliant value and being right on all major routes. The bar’s prices were a bit steep, and the selection wasn’t as good or as cheap as the Roseycomb just two minutes away.

The place was welcoming, felt safe, the food was good, and it was clean and quiet even though it’s close to a major road. I had trouble finding the sat nav because it’s a little hidden; I went the wrong way at first but figured it out soon.

The food was excellent as usual, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the room was warm, quiet, and comfortable. Nothing to complain about.

It’s set up nicely for families: single beds for the kids in a room next to the adults, plenty of tea and coffee in the room, a clean bathroom, and a pub next door that offered a great breakfast menu. It’s a bit noisy from the motorway and one bed creaked loudly, but it wasn’t bad enough to stop us from coming back, and I’d definitely recommend it.

Not much to say positively. The property needs a thorough cleaning, and the pictures don’t show the busy flyover just 100 yards away.
