The accommodation was centrally located on Calle Kukulkan, the main avenue of Tulum, but the shower in my room wasn’t working, so I had to use another room; I also booked only a few hours before check‑in, which might have prevented the front desk from catching that issue.

I loved the cats, but the breakfast was awful and the bathrooms were dirty.
