The price is cheap, the basic amenities are provided, the owner and guests are friendly yet keep a perfect distance. You can smoke right outside the room after leaving. The owner knows a lot about nearby islands. Walking down the hallway makes a slight creak, so be careful when leaving early in the morning. It’s not close to the ferry terminal, so it takes a bit of travel time.

On Thursday, 2026‑08‑20, because we hadn’t seen the email from Mumba Resort, we had to decide on payment methods that day and complete paperwork at the office, which might look awkward in text, but the young female staff handled everything with modesty, quickness, and a round‑trip to the rooms and office that left a strong positive impression—thanks! The room’s exterior only showed a long door, looking almost like a storage shed, which felt pretty bad at first, but once inside, the staff had already turned on the AC, creating a cool, air‑sealed environment; the cleaning was meticulous, and laundry and drying were free. A fellow guest in another room happened to show me how to use the washing machine, adding a small but pleasant travel anecdote. I had no complaints and enjoyed a very comfortable single night. I still think that, as mentioned earlier, the cheap, shed‑like impression from the door was off, but the interior’s cleanliness and comfort made the overall experience much more impressive, so I now believe the exterior should stay as is.
