The spot is right where you want to be and Angie was super friendly, always ready to help. The beds felt really comfy and it was nice having the kitchen and bathroom in a separate room. We’re already thinking about coming back—just hope she isn’t fully booked when we do.

The apartment is huge and the kitchen comes with everything you could need. The only downside is the entrance—it’s a bit slanted and gets pretty slick when it’s wet. Otherwise it’s a solid place to stay.

The location is spot‑on, close to shops and only a short drive to the restaurants around Airlie Beach. Unfortunately the moment we walked in there was a nasty, damp smell that wasn’t just incense as we were told. It lingered and made the stay less pleasant.

The unit looked great—plenty of space, clean and tidy. However, as soon as we stepped inside a strong odor hit us and stayed for the whole three‑day stay, despite the host saying it was incense and opening windows. The smell never really cleared.
