The host was genuinely friendly and the bedroom felt warm and tidy, which we appreciated. However, the house rules felt restrictive – we couldn’t use the kitchen or fridge without asking, and the door was often locked even for our own water. The living area was dominated by the dogs, the only outdoor table had just two chairs for four people, and the yard was cluttered with dog waste, making the space feel far less clean than the photos suggested.

The host was a sweetheart, welcoming us warmly and making sure we had what we needed; the location is excellent, just a short walk to the center on a quiet street, and the room was simple but a good size. Unfortunately, the ceiling fan didn’t work and the portable fan wasn’t enough for the two beds, and while the sheets were clean, some were stained and torn.
