The staff and owner were friendly; Ate Karen was very welcoming, and everyone greets you whenever you leave or return. It was a bit of a walk to the beach, but the location is close to convenience stores. The kitchen is free to use, and we enjoyed the rooftop view of the mountain while sipping coffee.

The location was excellent, right on the main road and near White Beach, just about a 10‑minute walk to the shore.

I really liked the rooftop area. Even though the café is no longer operating, it still works as a great hangout spot, dining space, and shared kitchen. We cooked a lot, and while they provide a refrigerator, there is no freezer. Overall, the rooftop has a great ambiance, the bedding was clean, and the cleaning lady was very nice. I booked this room as extra space because my cousin and her husband joined us, but we only received four rooms instead of the five we booked on the first night, so we had to squeeze into the other rooms. Their online responses were incredibly slow and brief, with no effort to even say a simple “hi” or “hello,” showing a total lack of good customer service. They even dropped our phone calls. Considering the affordable price, the lodge would have been acceptable despite being a bit far from the beach, but the terrible customer service and the fact that we didn’t get all our booked rooms made it NOT WORTH IT.

I liked the kitchen, which resembles their old café and is super spacious. The place is okay for its price, and the bedding feels fresh and clean. We booked five rooms but only received four on the first night. The representative handling online and SMS inquiries didn’t answer phone calls and showed no basic hospitality in their communication. Their replies were dismissive, making guests feel unwelcome. Though the rates were affordable, other accommodations offer better customer service. My calls were repeatedly cut off, which is highly unprofessional. The distance from the beach made me feel too lazy to return to the hotel or head to the shore, especially if you forget something.
