The location was great, right near the cable cars, and the staff spoke English and were friendly. I felt it was overpriced; I’ve stayed elsewhere for far less, especially the breakfast.

The spot is the best for visiting the National Park, right inside the park near the West gate, so you don’t have to wait in line. I’m especially grateful to the hostess, the kindest and most helpful person we met in China; she helped plan our walks and arrange transfers, and when we left our tablet in the room she already messaged us and found a way to send it to us in another city. There was nothing to complain about – everything was wonderful.

The hosts are super friendly, almost like being welcomed into a new family. The rooms are clean and spacious, and you’ll leave with amazing memories and a full belly thanks to the fantastic food. We were confused by all the different routes in Zhangjiajie, but the host was so kind to help us buy tickets and organize all our transportation. I can highly recommend them. I just wish I had stayed longer.

The accommodation was truly amazing; we’re so glad we chose this place! It felt like home, with the owner caring for us in every way—delicious home‑cooked meals and help planning around the nature park. The host knows the park well, speaks English, and gave us ready‑to‑go routes based on how long we were staying that avoided the main crowds. She also helped us buy tickets and knew the right locals to assist with anything we needed; she was just an angel. The location is beautiful and quiet, right at the West Entrance Gate to the park. We felt very welcome and it definitely made our visit to Zhangjiajie much better. The only downside was the beds—the mattress was a traditional Chinese one, so it can feel firm and hard if you’re used to European beds.
