“Fantastic stay at very reasonable price especially for the area everything including supermarkets”

From the moment we arrived, Mark and Bok made us feel taken care of. The Wi‑Fi worked well, and even though the kitchen wasn’t in our room, we could use the cooking facilities for free, complete with a decent fridge and freezer. Mark was a fountain of local knowledge, telling us about prices, how to get around, and the amazing beach at Station 1, just a 5‑minute walk. He even cooked for us a few nights, including a free BBQ. There was no kettle in the room, but they always provided boiling hot water when we asked. The location felt a bit intimidating at first, but the locals were fantastic and helpful, and there were plenty of shops right nearby. I’d gladly return.

I didn’t find anything good about this place. I booked for three nights but only stayed one, and it’s the worst spot I’ve ever been to in Asia. Don’t waste your money.

The staff were incredibly welcoming from the moment I arrived. I stayed in a nice, air‑conditioned double room and the beach was just a 5‑to‑10‑minute walk away, with great BBQ facilities. There’s nothing negative to mention.

“I will not gonna book this property again.”

The staff were friendly. However, the property feels very old and needs renovation. The washroom in our unit stinks, doesn’t flush well, and the door is broken. They should inspect every room before checking someone in. The surroundings aren’t pleasant to look at, but the staff were nice and friendly.

“Traveler Budgetarian”

If you’re hunting for a cheap spot right near the beach—about a 5‑to‑7‑minute walk—you’ll find this place. It’s not for “Kung maarte” folks, but if you’re a budget traveler like me, it’s exactly what you need. The owner and staff are very accommodating. If you’re worried about safety after a late night out, it’s totally safe; you’ll only be surprised by the area when you first arrive, but it’s safe to walk around even late. You’ll save a lot compared to other accommodations that cost 3‑4 times more, so you can use the extra money on food and souvenirs. I’ll repeat: BAWAL SA MAARTE. A big advantage is that you can cook your own food, especially if you’re a big group, which saves a lot. If you’re too lazy to cook, there are nearby carenderias and a mall—Robinson—just a 10‑minute walk. If you commute, it takes 3‑5 minutes and the fare is only 15 pesos, and you’ll have everything you need.
