The staff were very kind, and even though I arrived in Luxor early in the morning because of the express train, they still managed to help me; I could leave my luggage before and after check‑in and use the shared space freely. The owner kindly shared a lot of useful information. It’s also relatively close to Luxor station. The nearby street can be a bit noisy.

The staff are friendly and will try to assist when you explain what you need, and the location is very close to the bus station and the city center, so everything is reachable on foot. I was genuinely disappointed with this place and regretted staying here; many things were missing. You cannot wear shoes inside, the bathroom and toilet share the same room and the floor is always wet, the beds feel very hard, and the curtains provide no privacy—some beds lack them entirely. There is no breakfast, and it feels more like a converted house than a hostel. They also do not accept credit cards, so you must pay in cash. A mosque right next door means you’ll hear loud calls to prayer along with street noise and car horns, which seem to be part of the everyday atmosphere here.

The owner was very welcoming and always ready to help with any request I had; after checking out I could still use the public areas.
