Very close to the airport. The noise from the motorcycle and car traffic is very loud until the early morning hours.

The room is quite large, the space is also high, the bed is very comfortable, 24‑hour hot water, the greenery and pool are also good, the corridor is very spacious.

The place lives up to the “old Bali” vibe with a charming garden and a tiny pool; the room itself is basic but gets the job done, and the staff are polite and helpful. The atmosphere feels relaxed, though the old wooden doors have big gaps between the floor and the frame, so privacy isn’t great and the outdoor seating area in front of the rooms doubles as a hallway for guests down the aisle. Those of us who grew up backpacking in rickety “bungalows” with mat walls are used to close quarters, so it’s not a huge deal. Even though it sits in a busy tourist town next to a lively street, the hotel itself is surprisingly quiet—city noise lingers in the background, but it’s not annoying. If you’re looking for a truly secluded spot, the frogs in the rice paddies at night can be louder than the city. The surroundings are perfect for typical tourist activities: a 5‑minute walk to the beach, plenty of warungs, restaurants, souvenir shops, sports bars, tattoo and massage parlors all within a few hundred meters—classic Kuta/Legian. The only downside was my booking experience. I booked through a platform that offered only two price options instead of the four the hotel actually has. For the higher price I ended up in a “price category 2” street‑side, bottom‑floor room where the bathroom smelled of sewage due to construction work; that room should have been closed to paying guests. I paid a bit more and got a second‑floor room overlooking an undeveloped area on the neighboring property, which was what I had originally thought I’d booked—no sewage smell and everything fine. The pictures and descriptions on the booking site don’t clearly show which room type you’ll get, so this mix‑up cost me an unexpected upgrade fee that could be avoided with clearer room location info. The extra cost wasn’t a huge burden on my holiday budget, so I decided to ignore it and enjoy the stay.

Every time I return, I’m delighted by the warm family atmosphere and unbeatable value; the only drawback is that the street noise is better avoided by booking a family room.
