The view of Mount Rinjani was great. However, the room wasn’t clean; there were spider webs and stains on the floor. The facilities were a bit rusty. It got cold at night. There was no Wi‑Fi, no reception, and no staff at all. I arrived around 8 pm and nobody was there. The property is a dirt lot with some cabins on the left and right, and it seems the owners’ house is in the middle. The taxi had to wait with me because nobody came to greet me until someone finally showed up after several attempts. The lady didn’t speak any English, didn’t ask my name, and gave me a cabin that wasn’t the one I had booked. You can’t eat there; you have to go to the village about 10 minutes on foot. I told her I’d go to the village for dinner, and when I came back the property gate was closed and no one opened it for me. I had to jump over the wall to get into my cabin. The woman was young and alone. I’m a person who adapts to anything and I’m not demanding because I know where I’m staying, but there’s a minimum. I didn’t like it, I didn’t feel comfortable.
