I slept soundly on a comfy bed and the staff were very accommodating, but the room could use a deeper clean.

I liked the breakfast and the staff were friendly, but the room sat over the kitchen and an industrial air extractor was right outside our window, so it was noisy. The ensuite folding door was hard to open and didn’t fit correctly.

The location was great, but there was no wardrobe or storage space in the room.

The pub was charming and the accommodation was lovely; the owner was very helpful and the place was spotless. Breakfast was piping hot, delicious, and I couldn’t finish it all. The only downside was that food options were limited on some nights, but Melton is nearby so it wasn’t a big issue.
