I really appreciated that breakfast was included in the room price. The kitchen staff was flexible about my dietary needs for every meal, and I also liked the complimentary shuttle to and from the airport. During several nights there was a lot of noise that sounded like maintenance work and furniture being moved around, which disturbed my sleep.

The location was good, but the furniture and rooms were very simple.

The price is quite high for a single night, so I don’t think it’s super good. I was delayed by the flight, had my husband call the hotel to tell them, and found out it wasn’t the correct phone number listed. There were no food options after midnight, and the breakfast could have been improved a bit. Because we were pretty hungry after the lack of dinner options, we ate everything. The rooms were worn out, and honestly, when you arrive late in the evening with a lot of luggage, you have to lift it up many flights of stairs.

The hotel sits close to the airport and the staff were welcoming, but the equipment feels old and the rooms are pricey for the quality offered.

Woodpecker sits very close to the airport, which is perfect for onward travel, and it also has a pool while remaining quiet despite the nearby highway; this was my third visit and I was consistently satisfied. The breakfast, however, was very basic.
