Bailey Ground Hotel

I liked the bed we slept in, the staff, and especially the waitress who served our food. Check‑in and check‑out were very easy and straightforward. The view from the restaurant is worth more than any flight out of the country. Overall a good experience; we’d repeat it if we could, but there’s still a lot more to see around the area, and driving takes time, so I’m grateful we found this place. Maybe they need some renovation, for 125£ a night but that seems to come up soon. I know booking gets their commission out of it but yes, it was fair enough for the location and the sympathy of their staff.

The location is fine. It feels like a contractors hotel for sellafield.

Great spot close to the railway station. The room was very nice with a sea view. Breakfast was good. The staff were friendly and helpful.
