The host does his best. No bed bugs. The owner is an older man and cleaning isn’t really his strong suit, so you arrive in a room left in the condition the previous occupants left it.

The cheapest and most practical option near the airport, especially if you don’t need to head straight to the city center. Walking from the airport to the hostel is quick, especially if you’re light on luggage. I originally planned to stay two nights, but the plans changed, so I negotiated a one‑night stay with the host on the spot. I’m not sure if they speak English, but I managed to communicate in a mix of Russian and Serbian. It seemed I was the only guest, so I was alone in the double room. The linens were clean, and the bathroom was fairly tidy. The renovation was modest but everything was in place. Wi‑Fi worked reliably. I didn’t see the other rooms, and I had to leave by 9 am. There are some shops and supermarkets nearby, but the only cafés are those at gas stations. The kitchens close after 8 pm and reopen in the morning, so they’re closed all day. It’s a typical outskirts area. On the way to the airport, there’s a train station where you can catch a train to the city center, that is, to Podgorica railway station, or go to Sutomore and beyond. I recommend it for anyone who doesn’t mind skipping luxury and just needs a place to shower and sleep close to the airport.

“Cheap but could be a bit cleaner”

It was close to the airport and convenient. The owner was very friendly and offered lifts to the airport. The room hadn’t been cleaned - the floor was very dirty and the shower drain was blocked and hadn’t been cleared since a previous stay

The hostel is conveniently located close to the airport. The owner could drive us for a small payment to the centre

The location is fine. The staff were rude, even when I tried to ask the daughter to use Google Translate as I didn’t understand she was very rude and didn’t want to comply. She was harsh with me; the only good thing was when they took me to the wrong room I told them I paid for a private and she took me to the correct one. When she asked for payment she was harsh and demanded cash. I was a solo female traveller and didn’t feel safe. The room was very dirty and had many bugs flying around. The bedding didn’t fit the bed so I had to lay myself in small bedding on a double bed. They had a used bar soap and a used tiny bottle of body wash. The toilet paper had 3 sheets left and no spare. When I approached the reception (which didn’t have any signs) it was not a warm welcome; instead it looked confused as to why I was there and started abruptly asking what I was doing. Apart from the location the experience was not good, especially as a solo female traveller. I did NOT feel safe.
