We stayed at the annex, the room was spacious and the other guests were few, so it was quiet; the hot spring was great and the dinner dishes were excellent, and the welcome pastries in the room were thoughtful. However, the room could use a better clean—there was dust under the table, and the bathroom area felt a bit tight. When we checked in, the front desk said there was no breakfast for the four of us, even though the booking was for one night with two meals; fortunately I had the reservation details handy, showed them, and they returned the breakfast—quite a close call.
