“Pretty but would be gorgeous in the sun”

The hotel was pretty! They were painting while I was there, so I couldn’t see it without tape and tarps. It was also very rainy, so I couldn’t use the pool or rooftop, which isn’t their fault and would be romantic since it’s right on the water. The photos were accurate, and the central tree was gorgeous. I liked being in the old town—it was fun and exciting—but Uber and cars can’t drive to the hotel. Most will if you message and ask, but during busy times it’s not possible, so that was confusing but manageable. It’s cute to be along the water where you can walk on the waterfront and cross the little bridges in the area. There’s also an open‑air nightclub beside it! I could sleep through everything, but both nights were blasting music, so if you’re sensitive to that, ask first.

It was an amazing experience. Our first day in Udaipur. Shout out to Vanshika and the team who warmly upgraded us to a lakeside view. The property was very hygienic. Highly recommended.

“Lovely ambiance, decor and relaxing views!”

The hotel has a wonderful calming atmosphere. It’s right on the water and small enough that you feel like you have the place to yourself. The restaurant offers a beautiful view and nice décor. The staff are lovely and helpful. We were there on a Friday night after elections, and because it’s next to a bar it was pretty loud. But being in the middle of old town means that’s expected for a central location.

The rooms were clean, and the staff were super sweet and helpful with a lot of things. The location is at the backside of Lake Pichola and surrounded by major markets of Udaipur, with City Palace, Jagdish Temple, and major ghats within walking distance. However, the spot is very busy, and traffic can get congested in the evenings.
