We stayed at Hotel Aguamarina Boutique and felt right at home from the moment we walked in; with only five rooms, the place feels truly intimate. The rooms and the whole property were gorgeous, super comfy, spotlessly clean and well kept. The spot is perfect, right in the heart of Cartagena’s Walled City, so everything is a short walk away. Breakfast was a real treat, with plenty of good options and warm, personalized service each morning. Yelson deserves a shout‑out for taking such great care of us at breakfast and always starting our day with a grin. Every staff member was kind, attentive and helpful, going the extra mile to make us feel settled and to cover every need. Their hospitality added an extra layer of charm to our five‑night stay, and we’d definitely recommend Aguamarina Boutique to anyone looking for a cozy, personalized spot in Cartagena. We’d love to come back.

“Soggiorno confortevole”

We spent our time at Aguamarina Boutique Hotel in Cartagena and overall it was a very positive experience. A major plus was the ability to check in at 12:00 instead of the usual 15:00, which let us drop our bags and start exploring right away after the trip. The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. A special mention goes to Mr. Rosario, whose attentiveness and cordiality made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable; he was always available and made us feel truly welcomed. Breakfast isn’t a buffet but is prepared and served on the spot, which we found very pleasant because everything was fresh and carefully made. I personally had the best omelettes in Colombia—really great! The room was spacious, comfortable and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The pool on the top floor, shared with other guests, was very nice too. Because the hotel has few rooms, it’s hard to find many people at once, so the pool feels almost private. The location is simply excellent, right in the historic center of Cartagena, ideal for walking, visiting the main sights, strolling through the streets and easily reaching restaurants and bars. For dining, we highly recommend Tito Bravo and Pub Época; both left a great impression and are perfect for a dinner or a pleasant evening. In short, Aguamarina Boutique Hotel is a place we recommend, especially for its location, the staff’s friendliness, the freshly prepared breakfast and the welcoming atmosphere. The only downside we noticed was a fairly persistent mold smell that slightly lowered the room’s quality; it’s definitely something to improve.

“Parfait !”

The spot is ideal, the staff are very welcoming and the bed is amazing! The little rooftop pool is great for relaxing after the visits.

“Great stay, quiet and safe in the middle of everything”

The place is perfectly located in the heart of the old town, yet it feels private and quiet. The rooms are beautiful, especially the suite facing the living room. Service was excellent; Roberto was very attentive and respectful. We loved the experience.
