From my perspective the transport links aren't very convenient even though the hotel sits close to the bustling centre; the female staff were pleasant, but the male staff seemed unfriendly. Since the rate is low, I won’t comment on the surroundings.

Good value for the money and a perfect base for exploring Lanzhou – the night market is just a few minutes away, the Yellow River is within a 15‑minute walk, and the provincial‑government subway stop is about ten minutes on foot. Staff were friendly, though almost none spoke English, so I relied on a translation app to get by. The website mentions a restriction to mainland Chinese guests, yet I could book online without any trouble.
