Staying at Pondok Villas was a highlight of our trip; Mark and his wife made us feel genuinely welcome, cared for, and special from the start, turning the place into more than just a hotel. Our time in Amed and Bali overall felt even more special thanks to them, and I can’t recommend Pondok Villas enough. The only downside was that you need transport to get to the activities around Amed.

“If your lucky enough yo stay here then your in for a treat!”

This place is excellent – Mark the owner goes above and beyond to meet your needs. Breakfast is absolutely perfect, everything is spotlessly clean; I’ve stayed at some nice spots but this one wins hands down. MEGA! 🌞👊 Nothing else to say, Mark has ticked all the right boxes – first class!

I really enjoyed my stay at Pondok Wisata Balty Bali. The owner, his wife, and their staff are truly hospitable and kind people, making my visit very pleasant with their flexibility, generosity, and warmth. They even took me on a motorbike tour of the area, offered transportation at a fair price, and gave great local restaurant recommendations, among many thoughtful gestures. The room was very clean and had excellent facilities: a private bathroom, fridge, air conditioning, and a balcony with a nice ocean view. I highly recommend staying here if you want a comfortable place with genuinely kind hosts!

The accommodation was very comfortable, as were the beds. It was spacious and had a small terrace with a table, and in our case a well‑equipped kitchenette. The location was splendid, walking to a beach with spectacular underwater life. The staff were fantastic, and both Marc and his wife were attentive to everything you might need. The only downside was not being able to spend more time in Amed and following Marc’s recommendations.

Tres bon accueil d Inayah de Mark et son équipe. Mark a organisé tout nos transferts et bon conseil sur place. La chambre vue mer était super avec une grande terrasse. Séjour trop court pour profiter des activités proposées. Scooter sur place top. Merci a vous
