The staff were very helpful, the room was incredibly clean and comfortable, and I loved the street views; checking in and settling in was easy. My bed was a bit less comfortable than I’d hoped—two twin mattresses made into a double with a seam you could feel—and there was an occasional sewer smell in the bathroom, but opening a window cleared it. I’d stay here again when visiting Paris.

The hotel was very close to the metro and clean, but the room was smaller than in the pictures and there was no elevator as advertised; it was poorly sound‑proofed, so you could hear everything from the room next door.

The hotel’s location is perfect; the water has trouble draining in the shower, which needs checking, and the window closure is an issue. The upper room is pleasant and isolated from noise. The things that were malfunctioning will be resolved, like the elevator, and the veranda under renovation will be great, I think.
