The rooms were great! We spent a lot of time trying to find the hotel because the address on Booking didn’t match the real one. We had to take a taxi twice to get there, and if not for a friend in China who translated the address into Chinese, we wouldn’t have found the hotel. The hotel’s name on Booking was also different, making the whole trip stressful and complicated.

The design is nice and the staff thoughtful; rooms were modern with pleasant amenities. The staff were a highlight, especially Shanshan, who helped us with many things such as recommendations and getting around town.

The location is on a nice food street just outside the city, but finding it on a map was confusing. The room felt a bit worn, and I had to use the AI to control the air‑con and curtains, which was a bit tricky at first before it worked fine.

After arriving in Chengdu, I spent over 5 hours searching for the hotel and couldn’t locate it. I asked locals, taxi drivers, and other hotel staff for help but no one could point me in the right direction. Eventually we had to book another place and spend more than $200 extra just to get a place to stay.

Once you check in, you join the WeChat group and “Sugi” helps with all your questions. The staff’s service is excellent, and the concierge is also helpful via WeChat. Everything else I liked.
