Some of the amenities and cleanliness were better than some higher‑end hotels I’ve stayed at. I love the complimentary biscuits jar in the room too, such a nice touch. I would definitely recommend it to anyone needing a place to stay for events happening in and around the area. I’m a bit picky, so maybe a safe in the room would add extra security, but that’s all that comes to mind.

The location was fabulous, just outside of Bridgetown on a large property with great views of the valley and very peaceful and quiet. Ruth was the perfect host and made sure I had all I needed for breakfast for an early start. There was plenty of choice for the continental breakfast and the dining lounge was just beautiful, also lovely and warm due to the wood log fire, greatly appreciated on a cold winter’s morning. I only had 2 nights and was attending a puzzle event at the Bridgetown Puzzle Gallery, so next time I will take more time to enjoy the property to its fullest. Struggling to find any negatives!
