A family‑friendly hostel in a good area, with local eateries nearby. The four‑person room has large beds, no wardrobes but it’s secure because it’s on a private property. The room has a window, which isn’t common in Indonesia. The air‑conditioning is very poor, barely working. The room is directly connected to the bathroom, which unfortunately creates dampness. With the AC failing, it gets warm at night. There’s no soap or shampoo, so you need to bring your own. The internet works, sometimes slows down, but is acceptable. Overall, it’s calm and pleasant.

“Parfait”

The staff were truly very kind, the setup was very good, perfect for me! I needed to leave my bag and the owner immediately offered to hold it for me—really great! Everything else was fine.

The room itself is small, but the hostel’s space is very large for a hostel with walls on both sides and a roof. Unfortunately, the Wi‑Fi is difficult to connect to, the bathroom is sandy for some reason, and the AC either isn’t cold enough or maybe a foreigner’s presence is raising the AC temperature—I don’t know.

I saw the owner eating hard green bananas and then bought yellow bananas from the local greengrocer. I cried.

“Bad service and unclean”

The place sits in a decent spot and the food is cheap, but the building feels old and the dorm isn’t clean—bed linens were dirty too. When I asked for water, the staff was rude and told me to buy it myself, which is unusual since most hostels offer free water.
