“あてがわれた部屋がイマイチだったのかな?”
Climbing the hill was tough, but the location was good and the staff were kind and polite; the room was extremely cold.

Fantastic location and a great view from the little terrace where you have breakfast, a comfortable bed and a hot shower, which is very important in Cusco! The staff were kind and helped us with onward plans to Huaraz, and stored our big backpacks for us when we went to Machu Picchu.

Lovely staff who really want to help you have a pleasant stay; thanks again to Yuri for his help. The hotel is very well situated near the square and offers a magnificent view. The breakfast is complete and very good. The room is cool, which is common in Peruvian lodging, but there are many blankets so you don't get cold at night.

Bright and cheerful, good view over the city from the balcony; the terrain up to the road for tour pick‑ups is uneven.

I had to sit down to describe the experience: the location is wonderful, it sits in the middle of a staircase, but if you’re in Cusco, that’s how things are. The people who work at Casa del Inka feel like you’re getting a constant hug. My friend and I called Yuri “our dad” because of the care he shows each guest—his patience is unmatched, his calm voice and attentive ears are always there (guests always wonder if Yuri sleeps, because he’s always present, lol). Yuri also took care of all our tours, transfers, explained everything, answered all questions, and followed my group online during excursions. The breakfast is lovely; I’m obsessed with scrambled eggs, and the hostel view is simply privileged—seriously! The view is worth the whole experience you’ll have in Cusco. The beds are comfortable, there are so many blankets that a heater isn’t needed even on cold nights, the water is warm, and natural light enters the room. If I ever return to Cusco, I’d stay at Casa del Inka again and again; it’s not just a hostel, it’s your own home and becomes your family for the time you’re there. I write hoping to ease a bit the longing I feel for those wonderful days.
